Jesus’ Disciples

untitled

Mark 3:13-15
New King James Version (NKJV)
13 And He went up on the mountain and called to Him those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him. 14 Then He appointed twelve,[a] that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach, 15 and to have power to heal sicknesses and[b] to cast out demons:

Jesus called his disciples to be with Him. We can be with Him in prayer and fasting and gathering together with other believers. We can join with them on church Sunday celebrations, Bible Studies, Life Groups, and Special events that are to lift up Jesus in worship and praise. Spending time with Jesus gives us power to heal and deliver all the lost souls we will encounter as we are sent out to preach. If you have been called to be a disciple of Jesus spend time with Him in prayer, fasting, and attending church. Be that disciple that will make the difference to a lost world.
Spend some time with Jesus.

Prayer

14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
1 John 5:14

We should have the confidence to ask the Lord anything according to his will. Sometimes we get confuse and we think that God diesn’t hear our prayer because he doesn’t answer. Actuallu he does hear our prayer and he always gives us an answer. It may not always be what we want to hear. He may answer us by telling us yes, or that it’s not the right time for us, or simply He may just say no. Not everything we have is a blessing because if we ask God for something and we get it but it’s seperating from God, that is defenitly not a blessing from him. A blessing from God will bring us closer to God not pull us apart. We also need to learn how to ask because his scriputures says that we need to be specific about what are need is. The prayer will bring us closer to God.

Cuando la Tierra se Oscurecio

cross2

Salvation is at Hand

Acts 2:22-24

21 But everyone who calls on the name of the lord will be saved.’ 22 “People of Israel, listen! God publicly endorsed Jesus the Nazarene by doing powerful miracles, wonders, and signs through him, as you well know. 23 But God knew what would happen, and his prearranged plan was carried out when Jesus was betrayed. With the help of lawless Gentiles, you nailed him to a cross and killed him. 24 But God released him from the horrors of death and raised him back to life, for death could not keep him in its grip.

Praise God for his wonderful salvation! Call out, cry out to our merciful savior Jesus Christ. He is reaching out his hands and his arms are wide open to save you. We were blinded by sin in the past, but now we cannot deny how mighty our God is. Let Jesus deliver you with powerful salvation.

Abundant Grace

2 Corinthians 8:9-12

9 You know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich. 10 Here is my advice: It would be good for you to finish what you started a year ago. Last year you were the first who wanted to give, and you were the first to begin doing it. 11 Now you should finish what you started. Let the eagerness you showed in the beginning be matched now by your giving. Give in proportion to what you have. 12 Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. And give according to what you have, not what you don’t have.

I know how gracious the Lord has been to me, but when I read his word I am reminded of how great his mercies continue to be every day, praise God. Even though he, the Lord God almighty Jesus Christ is the creator of all existence, he humbled himself for all humanity so that we would be lifted up into the glorious kingdom of heaven. So with the gratitude I have in my heart I render to you my life Jesus, lead me Father to live and love as your child.

Prayer

Lord help me give you all that I am, my strength, my heart and my mind. I not only want to be blessed, help me father to be a blessing to whomever you put in my path, amen.

Con Que Corazon Damos Nuestras Ofrendas?

Health insurance or love concept

More Precious Than Rubies

Proverbs 31:25-26 “25) She is clothed with strength and dignity; she an laugh at the days to come. 26) She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.”

It’s no secret that in certain places, during certain times, to certain people, women have been viewed  as second class citizens. In fact, it still happens today. There are people who think women need to play a role and stay within the confines of this box, and they fail to see what the worth of a woman could be. This proverb tells us that a woman of nobel character is “worth far more that rubies” (verse 10). Women, it’s important for us to see ourselves in the mirror of God. To recognize that we were made by Him, and with a purpose. We are not here to be limited, we are here to serve and honor God, above all, and excel. When we speak, our words shouldn’t cut anyone down, but encourage. Let’s be the example. Let’s open our mouths with wisdom, and show kindness with the words we say and the way we speak, refraining from vulgarity and gossip-those things are toxic. And let’s never stop seeking God. So that we’ll be filled each day with His love that encompasses all that we should be. To know our worth, and show the world and all women that with our lives dedicated to God, makes us more precious that rubies.

Putting our trust on Him

cecy1

Those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, O Lord have not forsaken those who seek you.    Psalm 9:10

Because God is responsible for our welfare, we are told to cast all our care upon him, for he cares for us. God says, “Ill take the burden. Don’t give it a thought, leave it to me”. God is keenly aware that we are dependent upon Him for life’s necessities. If you are at a place in your life where you feel like you can’t take one step without the Lords help, be glad. He has you where he wants you.

Giving with Joy

cecy

As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1Peter 4:10

Gifts are given to us to use in the kingdom of God. Giving is a joy if we do it in the right spirit. It all depends on whether we think of it as “What can I spare?” Or as “What can I share?” Those who will use their skill and constructive imagination to see how much they can give for a dollar, instead of how little they can give for a dollar, are bound to succeed. So we must share with joy. An importantly the gifts that are giving to us is for use in the kingdom of God.

Lord help to use our gifts in the right manner. Teach us to minister to one another with great joy. Led us not into selfishness. but help us be more like you. Amen
