The Known God

Image

Acts 17:23-2523 for as I was walking along I saw your many shrines. And one of your altars had this inscription on it: ‘To an Unknown God.’ This God, whom you worship without knowing, is the one I’m telling you about. 24 “He is the God who made the world and everything in it. Since he is Lord of heaven and earth, he doesn’t live in man-made temples, 25 and human hands can’t serve his needs—for he has no needs. He himself gives life and breath to everything, and he satisfies every need.

Wow! I can imagine these men of Athens listening attentively, this was the ‘’new religion/philosophy’’ they all wanted to see what it was all about. Like the apostle Paul, we have to take advantage of these opportunities to preach the gospel of Christ, our Lords merciful news of salvation. All these men were very religious, they complied with all the decrees they had to carry out in order to please their ‘’gods’’. Everyone wanted to know about this Jesus Christ and what he had done. Some people thought it was just crazy talk, but they all wanted to hear what Paul had to say. There are millions of religious people in this world that have been brought up in a mechanical way of ‘’attending’’ church and haven’t realized truly who God is or can be for them. Our God is the giver of life and he sustains every single thing by his mighty power, so we must all give him the glory and praise that he is do. There is no other god besides our merciful savior Jesus Christ, and just like the apostle Paul explained it to these men of Athens, so we must explain how generous are God is to all those who need his salvation.

Prayer

Lord I pray that you give me the words and the genuine desire to speak on your behalf, let me tell the whole world how you saved me. So that all can see that you alone are God, you don’t need me Lord it is I who need you. Thank you for loving me and saving me Christ, I praise you Father. Give me the knowledge and wisdom to shine your light of salvation on this world full of darkness, amen.

Rejoice in Salvation

Isaiah 25:8-9

8 He will swallow up death forever! The Sovereign lord will wipe away all tears. He will remove forever all insults and mockery against his land and people. The lord has spoken! 9 In that day the people will proclaim, “This is our God! We trusted in him, and he saved us! This is the lord, in whom we trusted. Let us rejoice in the salvation he brings’’

The holy word of God says ’’ For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. ‘’ Philippians 1:21, this is the apostle Paul letting everyone know how important it is to rely on our God no matter what you may be facing. We believe that death of the mortal body is for a moment and I have faith in my redeemer this is true. My God has proven to me his promises found in the Holy Bible and I thank you Father for helping me all the days of my life, and for the life that you have granted me. I am blessed to declare and to preach the gospel of Jesus, the good news of salvation. Every time God provides an opportunity to share his message and wonderful mercies we must speak. This is our time to declare how mighty our God continues to be. Remember to rejoice, life can get really tough at times but through it all the Lord will always provide his joy no matter how tough it may get.

Salvation is at Hand

Acts 2:22-24

21 But everyone who calls on the name of the lord will be saved.’ 22 “People of Israel, listen! God publicly endorsed Jesus the Nazarene by doing powerful miracles, wonders, and signs through him, as you well know. 23 But God knew what would happen, and his prearranged plan was carried out when Jesus was betrayed. With the help of lawless Gentiles, you nailed him to a cross and killed him. 24 But God released him from the horrors of death and raised him back to life, for death could not keep him in its grip.

Praise God for his wonderful salvation! Call out, cry out to our merciful savior Jesus Christ. He is reaching out his hands and his arms are wide open to save you. We were blinded by sin in the past, but now we cannot deny how mighty our God is. Let Jesus deliver you with powerful salvation.

Abundant Grace

2 Corinthians 8:9-12

9 You know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich. 10 Here is my advice: It would be good for you to finish what you started a year ago. Last year you were the first who wanted to give, and you were the first to begin doing it. 11 Now you should finish what you started. Let the eagerness you showed in the beginning be matched now by your giving. Give in proportion to what you have. 12 Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. And give according to what you have, not what you don’t have.

I know how gracious the Lord has been to me, but when I read his word I am reminded of how great his mercies continue to be every day, praise God. Even though he, the Lord God almighty Jesus Christ is the creator of all existence, he humbled himself for all humanity so that we would be lifted up into the glorious kingdom of heaven. So with the gratitude I have in my heart I render to you my life Jesus, lead me Father to live and love as your child.

Prayer

Lord help me give you all that I am, my strength, my heart and my mind. I not only want to be blessed, help me father to be a blessing to whomever you put in my path, amen.

Wisdom

Image

“1 The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel; 2 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; 3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; 4 To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. 5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: 6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. 7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Proverbs 1:1-7

Thank God for His merciful love, He has loved us so much. Not only is He our miraculous savior, but has also lifted us with his beautiful instruction, so that we may never forget how to live a life that gives Him all honor and glory. “ ” 2 Timothy 3:16-17. Praise God for his amazing word. It can transform our lives if we allow it. No other book is alive. This heavenly message will pull us out of spiritual death, destruction and place us all on the path to eternal victory in Jesus’ name. Allow the Holy Lord of Glory into your life, study the scriptures, and His promises will never fail you.

Prayer

“Lord I pray that you continue to give me a new revelation each day in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

God’s Awesome Gift!

ImagePsalm 130 1 Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord! 2 O Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy! 3 If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? 4 But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared. 5 I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I hope; 6 my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning. 7 O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption. 8 And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

Reflection: No matter how deep you fall, God is never far. Shout to the Lord! For He is there ready to answer your call and rescue you. God has saved us by his great Love and Mercy, not by our works so that no one can boast about it (Ef 2:8-9). We all fall short of the glory of God, allow his redeeming love to sustain you. He has forgiven us long ago, praise the Lord! Wait for the Lord. He is your hope, salvation, and the light that will lead you to everlasting Glory (Heaven). Thank God daily for this awesome gift!
