2 Corinthians 8:9-12
9 You know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich. 10 Here is my advice: It would be good for you to finish what you started a year ago. Last year you were the first who wanted to give, and you were the first to begin doing it. 11 Now you should finish what you started. Let the eagerness you showed in the beginning be matched now by your giving. Give in proportion to what you have. 12 Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. And give according to what you have, not what you don’t have.
I know how gracious the Lord has been to me, but when I read his word I am reminded of how great his mercies continue to be every day, praise God. Even though he, the Lord God almighty Jesus Christ is the creator of all existence, he humbled himself for all humanity so that we would be lifted up into the glorious kingdom of heaven. So with the gratitude I have in my heart I render to you my life Jesus, lead me Father to live and love as your child.
Prayer
Lord help me give you all that I am, my strength, my heart and my mind. I not only want to be blessed, help me father to be a blessing to whomever you put in my path, amen.
Thank God his mercies are new everyday! It is only his love for me that has sustained me. That’s why I chose to live for him! Great reflection!
